Virginia Satir mentioned in her book entitled, The New People Making” your self-worth is based on meeting your needs in a position of self-honesty, strength, love, and reality.

Sometimes when your attitude is “I can only like myself when I do this well” or “I don’t like myself, so I will devalue and punish myself” is when your personal energy is diffused and fragmented.

Meaning, your self-belief, what you value, and your attitude in terms of what you want in life are scattered like the wind.  This is where you will feel lost and not sure about tomorrow.

All maturity is best handled when you get control of yourself and your situation in a healthy and responsible way, instead of acting out when you are not getting your way.  We all one way or another comes from imperfect family.  Some families are more troubled than others.  The trouble in the family often leads to your body feeling physically tired, sick, or stiff.  You sometimes must adapt to an inhumane or violent atmosphere, where you think it is the normal cycle of life.

Some doctors believe that cancer and/or other chronic health problems are due to repressed anger or emotions.  These repressed emotions can damage your physical, emotional, mental, spiritual, and financial well-being. These repressed emotions will lead to internal warfare where you blame yourself for everything that is going on and leaves you feeling poor.

People that come from troubled families often arrived above it all and still stand tall with those dignified feelings.  People that succeed are able to label and recognized their pattern. We all adapt to stressors by behaving in certain ways or patterns.  Patterns can change once you are more aware of them.

“It is not shamed to be knocked down by other people.  The important thing is to ask when you are being knocked down, why am I being knocked down?  If a person can reflect in this way, then there is hope for this person.”  Bruce Lee

Third-party stories such as Leonardo De Vinci help you understand that you go do anything once you make up your mind to succeed.

“Leonardo De Vinci was born to two unmarried parents and didn’t receive a great education as a kid, and yet he grew up to be one of the most influential artists, scientists, and inventors of all time.”  Unknown
